I started out as a client of Waggs 2 Whiskers myself several years ago, and I’m so excited to now be a part of the Waggs 2 Whiskers team! Getting to work with animals is truly my dream job. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, and now have a furry cat family of 5. Ensuring animals are comfortable and well cared for is very important to me, and gaining a shy pet’s trust is hugely rewarding for me. In addition to their standard care and needs I also make sure to keep your pet’s emotional wellbeing in mind during visits.

One year ago I left the healthcare industry (over 26 years in Lexington), got married and moved to Bagdad on a 5 acre farm and started rescuing animals. I was blessed to find a part-time job as a mobile veterinary assistant with Pawfessional mobile vet. I also do seasonal work at Gallrein farm.

Hi there! My name is Tiffany and I am an Office Assistant and Pet Sitter for Waggs 2 Whiskers. I grew up in Michigan, which is where I met my husband, Devin. We moved to Kentucky in 2017 and have loved it here since. I started working for W2W in 2018 while also working for Ford. I took a break from pet sitting for a while, because life got crazy busy. But, after having my sweet baby boy, Dawson, I decided to slow down, and take the opportunity to stay at home with him. It was so scary to leave my job at Ford, so I reached out to Kelly to see if she had anything I could do. Thankfully, she did!

Hi I’m Beth!! I’m a career Firefighter, wife and mother to an amazing little boy!! Before fighting fire, I was a professional horse trainer and a vet tech at Rood and Riddle Equine hospital. I’ve been very blessed in life to be able to combine my two passions and I specialize in large animal rescue, fire prevention in barns and help both people and animals! I love being around horses and love being a part of the Waggs 2 Whiskers family where I get to meet amazing animals and people!!

Hello! My name is Carly and I am a mom to a 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter. As a life long animal lover I really believe pets are our best friends. My besties are a hound mix named Jolene, an American Bully named Mister Blueberry, a cat named Kiki and a bearded dragon named Toothless. Although I don’t currently have any of my own I also love and have experience with horses and farm animals! I’m excited to meet and care for your besties!

Hi, my name is Ashley and I live in Shelbyville with my husband and two children. We have a 3 year old Cockapoo named Coco and a 6 month old Maltese named Biscuit. I grew up in a small town in Indiana where we worked daily with our horses. I had a love for taking care of my horse and showing him at our local "Saddle Club".

Hi! I'm Kayla. My love for animals started at a young age. When I was born my parents had a cocker spaniel named Little Buddy that became just that, my buddy. I am an only child so after he passed when I was 6, my home felt so lonely. A couple months later I went to a family reunion in Glasgow Kentucky where I met my soul dog, Chocolate.

I was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Kentucky in 2003. I worked for 20 years in the nursing field. I am a retired Labor and Delivery nurse who can now enjoy what I love to do in my free time: Spend time with my grandchildren, be part of a sewing club and work on various craft projects. But now I have the added bonus of caring for and loving on all your fur babies!

Hi! My name is Mary. I am a retired Speech/Language Pathologist and have been around animals all of my life.
My undergraduate degree is in animal science. I have shown horses in both English and Western disciplines, worked at horse training facilities, and have spent several years working with a veterinarian. My husband and I live on a small farm where we have raised two wonderful children and continue to have horses, dogs, and cats. In the past, we raised cattle for several years.

Hi! I’m Shannon and I am here for your furry babies big and small! I grew up on a small farm with horses and have an extensive horse care background. I was in Pony Club at 16. I did preliminary eventing for several years, mostly with thoroughbred horses right off the track. It was amazing and I loved it. I also have had other pets all my life including dogs, cats and two guinea pigs named Thumper and Flower.
