I started out as a client of Waggs 2 Whiskers myself several years ago, and I’m so excited to now be a part of the Waggs 2 Whiskers team! Getting to work with animals is truly my dream job. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, and now have a furry cat family of 5. Ensuring animals are comfortable and well cared for is very important to me, and gaining a shy pet’s trust is hugely rewarding for me. In addition to their standard care and needs I also make sure to keep your pet’s emotional wellbeing in mind during visits.

One year ago I left the healthcare industry (over 26 years in Lexington), got married and moved to Bagdad on a 5 acre farm and started rescuing animals. I was blessed to find a part-time job as a mobile veterinary assistant with Pawfessional mobile vet. I also do seasonal work at Gallrein farm.

Hi there! My name is Tiffany and I am an Office Assistant and Pet Sitter for Waggs 2 Whiskers. I grew up in Michigan, which is where I met my husband, Devin. We moved to Kentucky in 2017 and have loved it here since. I started working for W2W in 2018 while also working for Ford. I took a break from pet sitting for a while, because life got crazy busy. But, after having my sweet baby boy, Dawson, I decided to slow down, and take the opportunity to stay at home with him. It was so scary to leave my job at Ford, so I reached out to Kelly to see if she had anything I could do. Thankfully, she did!

I personally have three cats (grew up in a family that almost always had dogs) and I LOVE animals. I love that they each have their own unique personality and I enjoy building relationships that respect their individuality.

Hi! I'm Kayla. My love for animals started at a young age. When I was born my parents had a cocker spaniel named Little Buddy that became just that, my buddy. I am an only child so after he passed when I was 6, my home felt so lonely. A couple months later I went to a family reunion in Glasgow Kentucky where I met my soul dog, Chocolate.

I was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Kentucky in 2003. I worked for 20 years in the nursing field. I am a retired Labor and Delivery nurse who can now enjoy what I love to do in my free time: Spend time with my grandchildren, be part of a sewing club and work on various craft projects. But now I have the added bonus of caring for and loving on all your fur babies!

Hi! I’m Shannon and I am here for your furry babies big and small! I grew up on a small farm with horses and have an extensive horse care background. I was in Pony Club at 16. I did preliminary eventing for several years, mostly with thoroughbred horses right off the track. It was amazing and I loved it. I also have had other pets all my life including dogs, cats and two guinea pigs named Thumper and Flower.

Hi! My name is Mary. I am a retired Speech/Language Pathologist and have been around animals all of my life.
My undergraduate degree is in animal science. I have shown horses in both English and Western disciplines, worked at horse training facilities, and have spent several years working with a veterinarian. My husband and I live on a small farm where we have raised two wonderful children and continue to have horses, dogs, and cats. In the past, we raised cattle for several years.

Hi, my name is Hope and I’m so grateful to be joining the Waggs 2 Whiskers Team. I retired from a career with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and starting a new chapter with what I’m most passionate about...animals.
I grew up on different farms in Kentucky and I’m truly happiest when with dogs, cats, goats, ferrets, rabbits, horses (you get the picture).

Hi, my name is Mary Anne! I'm so happy to be here with Waggs 2 Whiskers. I have been working professionally (as a kennel tech, then a groomer, then a kennel tech again) with animals since 1993. This means I get to love many more animals than I could ever fit into my personal life. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
